Press Release
Issued by MT-Propeller .
November 6, 2015
MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received validation of its EASA STCs from ANAC, Brazil's civil aviation authority, for the installation of the five-blade MTV-27 on the Beech King Air 90 series, Beech King Air 300/350 series and Beech King Air 200 series. All three installation are already supplemental type certified by EASA and FAA.
MT-Propeller President Gerd Muehlbauer announced that the installation of the five-blade MTV-27 propeller on the King Air series offers general performance improvements and there are no propeller speed restrictions while operating in low idle.
The MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction for a jet-like vibration and noise signature. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD. They also provide best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operation and have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.
All models comply with the strict German 2010 noise regulations, "Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung", for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European countries.
MT-Propeller is the world leading natural composite propeller manufacturer with 30 propeller models from two-blade to six-blade hydraulically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 5000hp, and two-blade to four-blade electrically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 350hp as well as two blade fixed pitch propellers.
Over 30 years ago, the first MT-Propeller was shipped. The high performance, light weight and durable MT-Propellers can be used on aircraft with piston engines and propeller turbines, as well as on airships, wind tunnels or hovercraft.
Fulfilling the highest certifications requirements they are also supplemental type certified on Part 25 aircraft. There are no current Airworthiness Directives (AD).
MT-Propeller is the holder of over 200 STCs worldwide and an OEM supplier for more than 90% of the European aircraft industry as well as 30% of the US aircraft industry. Over 18,000 propeller systems with more than 60,000 blades are in service. 110 million fleet hours have already been performed on MT-Propellers.
A factory certified network of 60 service centers provides best service and maintenance all over the world.
