Avfuel-branded Jet Center at Santa Fe brings FBO monopoly to an end

Now open for business, Jet Center at Santa Fe (JCSF) will effectively end the long-standing monopoly at the Santa Fe Airport (KSAF). With a unanimous vote by the Santa Fe city council and full support from the mayor's office, the full-service FBO marks an exciting return for a savvy, well-respected group of industry veterans who proudly share more than 75 years of experience. This executive team includes Herb Marchman, Ron Tarrson, John Marchman, and Troy Padilla.

The founders bring their legacy of award-winning customer service to the Santa Fe aviation community creating uniquely personal travel experiences through on-point logistical services and high detail-oriented customer attention. JCSF's arrival marks a tremendous boon for the city, providing an impeccable first impression of Santa Fe for business, cultural and political leaders, celebrities and artists the moment they set foot on the tarmac.

JCSF leased approximately five acres of vacant land to construct a new terminal, two new heated hangars exceeding 32,000 square feet, a new fuel farm, and full service maintenance and avionics shop in affiliation with Santa Fe Aero Services. During the construction of its new facilities, the Avfuel-branded FBO will operate out of a temporary, ramp- side terminal, offering an amenities-rich passenger waiting area, a private pilot lounge, briefing rooms, Wi-Fi and plane-side car service.

Santa Fe and Scottsdale Air Center co-owners Herb Marchman and Ron Tarrson, Flight Partners president John Marchman, and former general manager of Santa Fe and Scottsdale Air Centers Troy Padilla, are the executive team behind JCSF providing full FBO services for the flying public, including commercial airlines, private charters and corporate aircraft. Santa Fe Air Center was an eight-time recipient of ExxonMobil Aviation's Gold Service Award. In its second year of operation, Scottsdale Air Center ranked as Aviation International News' number three FBO in the United States with consistent top rankings through the ownership period.
