GE Aviation has named Bombardier Singapore Service Centre as an authorized service facility for GE's CF34-3 engines. With this agreement, Bombardier's Singapore Service Centre can perform line maintenance inspections and routine installed engine maintenance, including removal and replacement of engines and engine components. Bombardier's Singapore facility is now authorized like its six other wholly-owned service centres in Amsterdam, Hartford, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas, Wichita and Tucson.

This authorized service center agreement will enable local CF34 operators to enjoy that world-class service support nearby.”

Since February 2014, the Bombardier Singapore Service Centre has provided over 150 aircraft with high-quality maintenance, received nine certifications and has dedicated unplanned maintenance teams (UMT) for the region.

The Bombardier Singapore Service Centre has received full certifications from EASA, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Taiwan and Isle of Man and is expected to receive further certifications from the FAA, Australia and China in 2015.

The facility features 3,000 sq. meters (32,000 sq. feet) of hangar space, 3,500 sq. meters (38,000 sq. feet) of dedicated ramp, 3,500 sq. meters (38,000 sq. feet) of workshop, warehouse and office space. The service centre includes a staff of over 70 employees and is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, full aircraft interior refurbishments, as well as modifications, avionics installations and aircraft on ground (AOG) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft.

GE Aviation is expanding its service network for business and general aviation engines with more than 50 authorized service centers for M601, H80 and CF34 engines. This network enables customers to have access to OEM-quality service and support around the world.

Since its service entry in 1983 on the Challenger 601 business jet, the CF34 has earned an industry-leading reputation as one of the cleanest, quietest and most fuel efficient engines in its class. These rugged, airliner-class powerplants set a new standard in corporate aviation for reliability and low maintenance costs.

Across the CF34 family, GE has delivered more than 6,000 engines and continuously invests in product enhancements. Today, CF34 engines are in service with 200 operators in more than 70 countries.
