VIP charter operator, GainJet Aviation S.A has acquired a brand new Gulfstream G650 ultra-long range executive jet, adding yet another ultra-long ranger to its growing long range fleet.
Leaving Savannah, GA with a total of 14 people onboard, GainJet's Gulfstream G650 landed at Athens International Airport at 06:21 a.m local time. Travelling at speed of Mach 0.90, the aircraft completed the 5,008 nautical mile journey in an impressive eight hours and twenty six minutes.
With its latest acquisition of the G650, which joins an already substantial long range fleet (including a G550 and G450) and vip Boeing fleet, GainJet is expanding its heavy jet market presence. The G650 offers the longest flight range capability available on the current executive jet market today. With a 7,000 nm (14 hours) flight range; maximum cruise altitude of 51,000ft; and operating speed of Mach 0.925, the G650 is the highest performance corporate jet. The G650 also features the most advanced aircraft technology, including a computer-controlled, highly redundant fly-by-wire flight system ensuring greater safety and smoother flying.
GainJet president, captain Ramsey Shaban, states: “The Gulfstream G650 is truly the world's best business jet. The aircraft's capabilities are far beyond any other on the market. The acquisition of such a high performance and versatile aircraft is a major advantage for GainJet, especially when considering who our customers are and where in the world they wish to go. The G650's advanced features, along with GainJet's excellent vip service, will allow for a customized journey tailored to the specific passengers' needs. We're sure it will satisfy all our customers' requirements. It's already even proven popular, having been booked for charters in the near future. We welcome it to our fleet with great excitement.”
Apart from the superior performance, GainJet's G650 also offers its passengers absolute comfort and luxury. Its spacious and wide cabin comfortably accommodates 16 passengers, and offers the option to convert the plush seats into flat beds (four singles and one double). The aircraft also replenishes 100 percent fresh air every two minutes and at cruising altitude of 41,000ft, the cabin is pressurized at a comfortable 3,000ft, reducing fatigue and ensuring further comfort.
GainJet's G650 is available for charter and will be primarily based in Athens, Greece. Shaban explains: “Athens as a primary base for the aircraft is strategically located as a central point for our main target markets: Europe, the Middle-East, and Africa. We're sure it will be popular in all these markets. So we feel Athens is an ideal position right in the center of it all.”
