Daher-Socata is showcasing its TBM 900 at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland, held from May 20 to 22, which marks the new aircraft's initial presentation to the Business Aviation World in Europe.
The new TBM 900 has attracted significant attention among pilots, owners and operators, with 47 already ordered, and as of May 16th, 12 airplanes have been delivered to their customers.
At a press conference held today, Stéphane Mayer, Daher-Socata's president & ceo explained: “The TBM 900 demonstrates the capacity of innovation of our company as it involved our expertise in analysis, research and development, engineering and manufacturing. This expertise also benefits our customers to which we provide aerostructures, used on many of the large business aircraft and helicopter exhibited here at EBACE.”
“Just fly the TBM 900 and find out this is a brand new aircraft”. He added.
Nicolas Chabbert, the senior vice president of Daher-Socata's airplane business unit, explained how the TBM 900's improvements in speed, eco-efficiency and comfort, respond to expectations of corporate and small charter operators. “The TBM 900 success relies on its true eco-efficiency which is key to European markets,” he added.
