The Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA), Germany’s Federal Office for Civil Aeronautics, has signed the final approval for base maintenance services for Gulfstream GV-SP/550 aircraft to HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance GmbH.

“This will give us the ability to offer our clients line and base maintenance services at our hangar at Hahn Airport as well as abroad”, says Michael Bock, ceo of HAITEC. “To apply for the approval was an important strategic step to offer more services for different types of aircraft and to foster our business opportunities.”

HAITEC already holds type approvals for most Boeing and Airbus aircraft. “We received as well the approval for base maintenance for the Boeing B777 in November 2013. Beside our EASA Part 145 approval, HAITEC got also the approvals from Russia, the UAE, Qatar, Bermuda and since beginning of January 2014 as well the approval of Azerbaijan”, confirms Frank Rott, HAITEC’s coo.
