Vip charter operator, GainJet Aviation S.A, has acquired a new executive jet to add to its expanding fleet. The Embraer Legacy 600, registration SX-DGM, was delivered on 28 January 2014, and is expected to be available for charter by the end of February 2014 based out of Athens, Greece (LGAV/ATH).
The aircraft was first delivered at the very end of December 2007 and is in excellent condition. It can comfortably host 13 passengers in superb luxury, and its large baggage hold area can accommodate a substantial volume of luggage. The cabin features six individual vip seats, a club-four dining seating area, and a plush three-seater sofa. Its six hour (3,050 nm) flight range provides GainJet with the ability to offer an ideal aircraft for regional/mid-range use that can also be used for intercontinental travel. GainJet president, captain Ramsey Shaban, states “we're very proud of this new addition to our fleet and have no doubt it will be popular amongst of our clientele. Its comfort and size, combined with its onboard features make this one of the best super mid-size private jets on the market.”
SX-DGM joins a diverse fleet at GainJet. The company's fleet features several executive jets available for charter including Gulfstream G550, G450, Bombardier Global Express XRS, and Challenger 604, with delivery of a G650 expected later this year, and several executive airliners, including a vip Boeing 757-200 with 62 vip seats and a stateroom. The company also took delivery of its third vip Boeing 737 in summer 2013. Shaban explains, “the acquisition of our new Legacy 600 fills a void that once existed in the GainJet fleet and we're glad to welcome it to the team.
