Jetex launches FBO at Dubai World Central

To capitalize on the growing demand for high-end executive travel, Jetex has launched a full-service FBO at Al Maktoum International Airport at Dubai World Central.

The FBO offers a vip lounge, ground support, fueling, handling and security services, with Jetex's team of dedicated professionals on hand to look after hotel accommodation, catering and limousine services. The combination of the services offered will heighten the ease of travel and convenience for clients.

The FBO profits from the company's vast range of expertise in accommodating heads-of-state and travelers requiring greater amenities than those offered by most typical FBOs. By utilizing this experience Jetex will continue to be the “go to” point for executive travel coming to the region.

“Dubai World Central marks the next chapter in Dubai's development as one of the world's leading aviation hubs,” says Adel Mardini, president & ceo of Jetex Flight Support. “It makes absolute sense for us to be present there and the new general aviation terminal that is being built now will feature highly luxurious facilities that will set a new standard of excellence for our global customers.”

Mardini added that the FBO is just another step in Jetex's overall strategy to redefine ground handling and FBO quality worldwide, and that more announcements are to be expected in the future.

Rashed Bu Qara'a, chief operating officer of Dubai Aviation City Corporation said that "Al Maktoum will bring much comfort to general aviation passengers flying into Dubai. We have launched phase one of the project where general aviation flights operate from a temporary terminal." "Plans are underway to build a new GA terminal that will bring a whole new vision to business travel not only in the region but the world-over and we are proud to have Jetex FBO established at DWC." Bu Qara'a added.

Jetex offers complete flight support, including ground handing, fueling, weather reports and logistics via its Dubai headquarters and has FBOs in Paris and in Shannon airports.

Dubai World Central is an economic zone that includes residential, aviation, logistics clusters representing an estimated investment of $32 billion. Its centerpiece, Al Maktoum International Airport is expected to have a capacity of 12 million tons of cargo and will handle 160 million passengers per year.
