FlightSafety International promotes David Judge to assistant manager, Farnborough Learning Center

FlightSafety International announces that David Judge has been promoted to assistant manager of the company's Learning Center located at the London Farnborough airport in the United Kingdom.

“We are pleased to promote Dave to assistant manager,” said Paul Hewett, manager, Farnborough Learning Center. “His experience, leadership abilities, and dedication to provide outstanding service and the highest quality training are valued and appreciated by our customers and teammates.”

Anthony van de Geest continues to serve as assistant manager of the Farnborough Center. Dave's appointment will enable Anthony to increase the support he provides to FlightSafety's Learning Centers in Johannesburg, South Africa and Stavanger, Norway.

Dave joined FlightSafety in 2008 as assistant director of Standards at the Farnborough Learning Center. He was promoted to project manager of the Center's Challenger 605 training program in 2011, and most recently served as program manager for Sikorsky S-92 training.

He was with British Airways from 1990 to 2007. Dave was a first officer on the Boeing 757, 767, 777, and McDonnell Douglas DC-10, and was as a captain on the Airbus A319, A320, and A321 aircraft. Just prior to joining FlightSafety, Dave was working as a consultant at Oxford Aviation Academy teaching the First Officer Fundamentals program.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Applied Zoology from the University of Wales, and a Master of Science from Cranfield University in Bio-Aeronautics.
