Real-time technical documentation for TBM 700 and TBM 850 aircraft now available for Apple iPad

Daher-Socata today announced the release of its latest “My TBM docs” application, which is available at no cost for Apple's iPad.

This 1.3.2 version, downloadable from Apple's App Store, offers free access for registered operators and owners to full, constantly-updated technical documentation for all TBM 700 and TBM 850 very fast turboprop aircraft models - including the internal parts catalog, maintenance manual and pilot information manual.

The available documents represent more than 40,000 pages of information in PDF format and are fully searchable, easing the use of documentation and providing more information to aircraft operators. The library also features a video section for educational pieces. A briefcase section enables the user to tag preferred documents for on-ground preparation of flight operations. This application was created internally by Daher-Socata's documentation team, with the assistance of Daher Information Services at its parent company.

"Our team worked very hard to develop and design a practical application to pilots and users of the TBM. Its real-time updates allow use of the most current data for safe operations," said Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of the Daher-Socata airplane business unit. “This is another step to provide useful paperless information which can be reviewed anytime."

Daher-Socata unveiled the new version of “My TBM docs” at the TBM Owners and Pilots Association Convention, which was held September 24-27 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
