Nextant 400XTi makes maiden voyage to Russia

Nextant Aerospace, maker of the Nextant 400XTi, the world's only remanufactured business jet, announced this week that it will participate in the 8th International Business Aviation Show Jet Expo at Vnukovo-3 airport in Moscow, Russia, 12-14 September 2013. It will be the maiden voyage of the 400XTi to Russia. The aircraft retails at $4.95 million and takes the company's passion for innovation and value to new heights, setting the standard for best-in-class performance, comfort and efficiency.

Nextant launched in Russia in June by appointing FortAero Baltic Business Aviation Alliance (“FortAero”) as the exclusive sales agent in Russia and CIS. At the same time the company has placed an initial order for two 400XTi's. The first aircraft will be delivered in November 2013 followed by the second in January 2014. FortAero has more than 16 years of experience within the Russian and CIS business aviation market and will play a key role on defining Nextant's sales, marketing and customer service strategy in the region.

Strong potential in Russia

“We see strong potential in Russia,” said Peter Walker, Nextant vice president, EMEA and APAC, who is attending Jet Expo this week with Nextant's president, Sean McGeough. “It is a young and expanding aviation market which understands the convenience of business aviation. Light cabin aircraft have traditionally struggled here due to limited range. This is not a problem for the Nextant 400XTi. With a 3,710 km (2,003 nm) range the aircraft can easily fly from Moscow to Novosibirsk, Almaty or Tashkent as well as to London, Barcelona or Cairo without refueling with the quietest and most comfortable cabin in its class.”

With a rapidly growing economy and the sixth largest GDP in the world, Russian government and business leaders are looking for time-efficient and cost-effective travel to Europe, the Middle East and within the Commonwealth. The Russia/CIS entry-level jet market is estimated to be 69 aircraft valued at $225 million and growing. However, the total Russia/CIS market, including aircraft owned by residents but registered abroad, is estimated to be at least three times this size.

Best-in-class cabin

Launched at EBACE this year, interest in the innovative 400XTi (“I” stands for “innovation”) has been strong across the globe. With its 3,710 km range the aircraft matches or outclasses the competition across a range of performance and financial metrics. The custom-appointed interior offers an extremely broad selection of the finest materials, handmade by skilled craftsmen. The composite interior shell delivers more space around the head and shoulders. The state-of-the-art acoustic package delivers by far the quietest cabin with an impressively low 76dB of ambient cabin noise. The club four seating area provides the ultimate space to work or relax with WIFI, a 67 x 50 cm vip table and extended leg room.

Aftersales Support

After delivery, Nextant's customers benefit from a global network of factory-owned and authorized service centers backed by the world's biggest and most responsive parts inventory. This translates into short lead times, quick turnarounds and maximum dispatch reliability. Nextant's powerful parts support infrastructure can quickly and effectively source factory-direct parts anywhere in the world, increasing aircraft availability, minimizing time-to-delivery and reducing costs.
