At Paris Air Show, Turbomeca (Safran) signed collaboration agreements with the first customers for the tests of BOOST (Bank Of Online Services and Technologies), a totally new range of integrated online services to streamline customers operations.
BOOST answers essential helicopter operator needs: addressing aircraft safety, increasing operational availability and optimizing maintenance and operations costs. BOOST offers operators more visibility and expertise, to get the most out of their engines. Thanks to BOOST, Turbomeca's current engine support services will broaden and develop into real proactive actions and practices.
Milestone Aviation Group, Helijet, CHC Helicopter, Héli-Union and Helicopters Italia agreed to participate in the test phase of BOOST.
The BOOST test phase will start during the second semester of 2013. Turbomeca and its “test” customers will perform a series of tests on the BOOST application and its innovative services, including the web-based Technical Publications (web-IETP), the electronic logbook, alerts and configuration modules.
These tests are part of the preparation for the BOOST official launch in 2014.
