Charter operators invited to fly in to join PrivateFly BGAD Bowling Challenge

Charter operators in the UK and Europe are invited to fly in to take part in the PrivateFly BGAD Bowling Challenge.

The challenge, organised by online private charter network PrivateFly, will take place at BGAD13 – the UK Business & General Aviation Day, Tuesday September 17th at Cambridge Airport. It puts teams and their members against each other in a very British version of ten pin bowling.

Aircraft operators are encouraged to fly their aircraft into Cambridge, which will be parked up on BGAD's static aircraft display, to be viewed by charter brokers and industry professionals, who attend BGAD in their hundreds.

PrivateFly's ceo Adam Twidell said "This is a great opportunity to reward your team by taking them to Cambridge for the day – and what better way to increase your profile with brokers than to show them round your aircraft in person? The bowling challenge will be a bit of competitive fun and a great way to network with others in the industry".

As well as the Bowling Challenge, visitors to BGAD13 will be able to do business with around 50 exhibiting companies from all sectors of business aviation, as well as attend free seminars co-ordinated by trade associations BACA and BBGA.

BGAD organiser Mark Ranger commented "This is the ninth time that we have staged BGAD in association with our friends and colleagues at Cambridge Airport, and it continues to be a quite unique day in the business aviation calendar".

BGAD13 is a one day business aviation trade event that takes place at Cambridge Airport each year, comprising of an exhibition area, static aircraft display and free to attend seminars. It has been organised by EBAN magazine in association with Cambridge Airport since 2001.

Visitors to BGAD can expect to see around fifty exhibiting companies, a static aircraft ground equipment and luxury car display – normally with around twenty aircraft and a carefully structured (free to attend) seminar programme.

Entry into BGAD is restricted to qualified business aviation professionals.
