RUAG appointed new Lineage 1000 service centre in Munich

RUAG Aviation has been appointed as an Embraer Authorised Interior Warranty Repair Facility as well as an Embraer Authorised Service Centre for Lineage 1000 line maintenance. This new appointment supplements its present capacity as a Legacy 600/650 line and base maintenance facility.

RUAG Aviation's appointment as an Embraer Authorised Interior Warranty Repair Facility is in line with its cabin programme expansion strategy. “Since the official launch of the interior programme four years ago, we have experienced solid and steady growth in refurbishment and cabin upgrade activities. In fact, we recently delivered our inaugural complete completion project to the full satisfaction of the customer, with whom we are already discussing the next project,” said Michael Sattler, vice president business aviation, RUAG Aviation. “Being able to add the Embraer Lineage 1000 to our interior programme is an achievement we are very proud of.”

While the Lineage 1000 market in Europe may currently appear limited, RUAG Aviation anticipates its growth and a resultant increase in the demand for maintenance, repair and overhaul services. The company will be further expanding its services with the addition of the Embraer Legacy 450/500 aircraft to its portfolio. Additionally, the first C-Check for an Embraer 170 is scheduled to take place this summer.
