MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received EASA STC # 10043964 for the next generation 4-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-16-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR240-55 on the DHC-6 (Twin Otter) Viking Air Ltd.
The FAA STC is following.

- Enhanced climb performance by approx. 5 % (MTOW, SL, ISA conditions)
- Enhanced cruise performance by 2 to 3 kts (MTOW, ISA conditions)
- Significant inside and outside noise reductions
The high technology natural composite blades have no life limitation and can even be repaired in case of a FOD.
