FlightSafety announces a new phased recurrent training program option designed specifically to meet the needs of customers who train at the company's London Farnborough and Paris-Le Bourget training centers

FlightSafety International announces a new Phased Recurrent Training program option designed specifically to meet the needs of Customers who train at the company's London Farnborough and Paris-Le Bourget Training Centers.

"We have worked closely with our Customers in Europe and the surrounding region to develop this new and innovative recurrent training option," said Scott Fera, Vice President, Marketing, FlightSafety International. "This new approach provides our Customers with the option of more continuous training while reducing the number of training days during each visit to the Center."

Pilots who select this option will undergo phased recurrent training twice per year over a three-year period. Each phase includes two full flight simulator sessions and classroom instruction on aircraft systems, performance and incidents/service bulletins and CRM. Customers will have the option of adding other modules, including London City approach, Category II low visibility approach and landing and Line Oriented Flight Training. This new Phased Recurrent Training option is only available at FlightSafety's Centers in Europe and will be JAA compliant as it includes all mandatory components.

"The first Phased Recurrent Training course for the Cessna Citation Bravo and Hawker 800XP aircraft will commence in July 2008 at FlightSafety's London Farnborough Center. We will be providing this training for other aircraft types in the future and will also offer this new program at our Paris-LeBourget Training Center later this year," added Scott Fera.

FlightSafety will continue to offer its current European Training Package. It provides a full recurrent training session conducted every 8 to 12 months and includes licensing proficiency and operational proficiency checks.

FlightSafety's London Farnborough Center offers comprehensive training for Cessna Citation aircraft including the CJ2, Bravo and Excel. The Center will provide training for the Citation Mustang beginning in June 2008. Training programs for operators of aircraft manufactured by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation includes the Hawker 400XP, 800XP and 850XP and King Air 200. The Center also provides training for the Sikorsky S-92 helicopter.

The company's Paris-LeBourget Training Center serves operators of Dassault Falcon Jet aircraft with training for virtually all models ranging from the Falcon 10 to the Falcon 9000EX EASy. The Center also provides training for the Cessna Citation I, II and V aircraft as well as the King Air 200 manufactured by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation.
