London-based aircraft management and charter company Oryx Jet is delighted to add another luxury aircraft to its managed fleet of executive jets ensuring more choice to its private business and leisure charter services both locally and internationally.
A luxurious Bombardier Global 5000, one of the world's best-selling super large business jets, begins operation from December 2012 and is managed from Oryx Jet's HQ within affiliated partner Rizon Jet's state-of-the-art FBO/MRO facility at Biggin Hill Airport. This latest addition to Oryx Jet's rapidly growing fleet boasts one of the largest cabins in its class, with performance affording trans and intercontinental flight at unmatched speeds; yet it retains the versatility to operate from smaller, more challenging airfields. The luxurious cabin has 2 bathrooms and a semi separate lounge bedroom ensuring unequalled comfort and an ideal environment for in-flight business meetings or relaxation.
Oryx Jet ceo Mike Russell said: "We are delighted to welcome the Global 5000 to our growing fleet; it enforces our business strategy to deliver our clients with unparalleled vip business travel options to all corners of the world."
The Global 5000 includes one of the widest, most spacious super large jet cabin in its class and is complimented with one of the most technologically advanced cabin electronic systems available. With a stand up cabin height of over six feet and fully berthable seating, ultimate comfort is assured to all those on board . The aircraft can accommodate up to 12 passengers and is equipped with on-board entertainment and a satellite phone. It has transcontinental range and is capable of flying directly from Continental Europe to Central USA at high speed.
Oryx Jet's existing Hawker, Falcon 50 and Challenger 604 fleet is also complemented by single and twin turbine engine helicopters. It is one of an elite group of UK aircraft operators that can fly with a paperless cockpit, and its charter aviation service was this year recognised as Best Charter in Europe in The Business Destinations 2012 awards.
Mike Russell said: "We believe providing an outstanding service with a focus on global coverage is the key to our success. We remain committed to developing and improving our service levels and our customers overall VIP experience. The aircraft management arm of our business is expanding at a rapid rate and we are confident the latest addition to our fleet will match the demanding needs for corporate and leisure travel, making business aviation more accessible to the emerging market."
