UK Pilatus Centre, the Bournemouth International Airport based distributor for Pilatus, the Swiss aircraft manufacturer, has reported that its engineering and servicing team has made a major contribution to the company's multi million turnover with servicing revenue up 18% over the last 6 months (June – November). Dave Munday, engineering director says that with 40 Pilatus PC-12s now delivered through the centre, a year on year increase can be expected as owners of the $4.6 million, 9 seat executive aircraft continue to enjoy its low operating costs.

"Our cash rich - time poor customers are certainly making the most of their aircraft's cost efficient convenience," said Dave Munday. "We opened our full maintenance facility in 2009 and now the majority of PC-12 operators are in the habit of using our excellent customer service without having to fly their aircraft to the factory near Lucerne for the mandatory servicing and upgrades."

The UK Pilatus Centre, which acts as sales distributor for the award winning PC-12 aircraft in the UK, Spain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, was acquired by Pilatus Centre (BIS) Limited in April (2012). The company will look to expand the engineering team to meet the anticipated demand in 2013 and service other makes of aircraft powered by PT6 engines.
