Avfuel's popular loyalty rewards program for pilots and flight departments – has awarded over $25,000,000 worth of rewards to its members since its inception in 1991.

AVTRIP currently has over 47,000 members collecting points on the purchases of various Avfuel fuels and services. AVTRIP Points are available at all Avfuel-branded FBOs, a network spanning 600+ domestic locations and continuing to grow in Europe.

"Avfuel is thrilled that not only have so many pilots and flight departments selected us to provide services, but that we are able to thank them for their loyal patronage through the AVTRIP program," said Avfuel's Marci Ammerman, Vice President, Marketing. "Many of our members have been with us since the beginning but we are thrilled with the program growth we continue to see domestically as well as the rise in our international membership."

Members collect points through fuel purchase but also can collect points for trip planning services purchased through Avfuel's flight planning company, Avplan Trip Support, as well as through a variety of bonus and non-fuel opportunities. For every 5,000 AVTRIP Points accumulated, members receive a cash award.

Setting AVTRIP apart from other loyalty programs is its accelerator feature: Avfuel accelerates members' point balances with free points, helping members reach the amount of points needed for an award more quickly.

"Accelerating AVTRIP Points is essentially giving our members free points just for participating in the program," said Ammerman. Points are accelerated at a rate of 8%, 10% or 12% compounded quarterly, based on when members elect to receive awards (quarterly, annually or triennially). The more points a member has accumulated, the more accelerator points he or she will receive, which boosts the member up to 5,000 (the amount needed to be eligible for an award) faster. "As long as there are AVTRIP Points in your account, those points are being accelerated," Ammerman stated.
