Jet Aviation has added a Moscow-based Global 5000 to its fleet of managed aircraft. The company is working in close cooperation with Swiss FOCA to bring the aircraft onto its AOC, and expects the aircraft to be available for charter services in December 2012.

With delivery expected in December, the Global 5000 aircraft will be managed by Jet Aviation and available for charter services as soon as approval for commercial transport is secured. The luxurious and efficient Bombardier Global 5000 corporate jet aircraft comfortably accommodates ten passengers for a range of up to 9,000 km.

"We are thrilled to make this Global 5000 available to our charter customers in Moscow, where long-distance, wide-body business jets are preferred," said Claudio Peer, vice president of sales for aircraft management and charter, EMEA and Asia.

Jet Aviation's European charter fleet consists of various types and sizes of aircraft, including two Citation Bravos, a Citation Excel, a Phenom 300, a Falcon 2000 and a Global 5,000, as well as two Gulfstream G550 aircraft. All aircraft in the fleet are similarly outfitted and include the latest technological safety enhancements, navigation devices, communication tools, business amenities and entertainment systems. The charter aircraft are controlled by Jet Aviation and are maintained by the company's highly skilled, factory-trained flight and maintenance crews. Cabin and flight crews are specifically trained to offer the utmost in service and discretion.
