FlightSafety names Steve Sparks director, NetJets Program

FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Steve Sparks has been named to the newly created position of Director, NetJets Programs.

As Director, NetJets Programs, Sparks will work closely with senior management at both NetJets and FlightSafety to help ensure that the thousands of NetJets pilots who train at FlightSafety each year continue to receive the highest quality professional training. He will be based at the NetJets facility in Columbus, Ohio, which is located adjacent to the FlightSafety Learning Center.

Steve began his career with FlightSafety in 1999 as a Product Marketing Manager, was promoted to Relationship Manager at FlightSafety's Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center, and then returned to Marketing as Senior Product Manager in 2006. He then left FlightSafety to serve as Director of Flight Operations for an aerospace company in Asheville, NC, and most recently held the position of Doctorial Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Bethany College in Bethany, WV, a Master of Business Administration from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Applied Aviation and Space Education at Oklahoma State University. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot license, is a Certified Flight Instructor, and has accumulated over 3,100 flight hours.
