A vip charter airline has celebrated its second anniversary by backing the British goals and gold rush. Cello Aviation, based in Birmingham, marked its second anniversary flying the GB Olympic football team to its pre-games training camp in the Mediterranean.
The flight was undertaken in conjunction with Gatwick based airline charter broker, Air Charter Travel. When Cello did its first flight in July 2010 for an international automotive company it was in conjunction with Air Charter Travel.
"Our relationship with Cello Aviation is proving to be highly successful enabling us to place our clients with an airline that meets their needs by providing top quality flights," said Steve Williams, a director of Air Charter Travel.
Cello Aviation operates a BAE 146 in a luxury 46 luxury configuration with beige leather seats.
In two years the airline has flown for nine top Barclays Premiership football clubs, two French clubs and most recently took the Republic of Ireland football team to the European Championships in Poland and the Ukraine. Cello has also flown international performing stars as well as corporate businesses. Last year Cello was also chosen to take the Queen on her historic state visit to Ireland.
"We have been able to grow the business during the most challenging economic climate in living memory and so we must be doing something right," said Cello's chief executive officer Nim Baines.
"The secret is not a secret but just hard work and doing all we can to give the customer the very best experience we can. It was great to have the chance to play our own small part in the Olympics."
