A vip charter aircraft has been flying the skies of Europe sporting a giant pink nose. The BAE 146 operated by Cello Aviation based in Birmingham has the nose as a signal of the airline's support to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.
Cello Aviation is backing the charity as part of its second anniversary celebrations. As well as making a donation the airline will be organising a collection on board and at its offices. Cello will also be supporting Breakthrough Breast Cancer during their big awareness and fund raising week in October.
"Breast cancer is the biggest killer of women and we wanted to do our bit to raise awareness of the vital work that is done to tackle the disease," said Vince Essex, commercial manager at Cello Aviation. "It is a condition that is understandably associated with women but which can also affect men."
Cello Aviation started flying in July 2010 and since then has flown clients including the Queen, many top club and international football teams, music stars and corporate businesses.
