GE Aviation enhances business and general aviation support for 2012 London Olympics

According to the UK Civil Aviation Authority, business aircraft flights to southeast London are expected to increase by more than 3,000 during this summer's 2012 Olympics. To help support these customers who operate GE-powered aircraft, GE Aviation has formed a strategic arrangement with Ocean Sky Jet Centre, a Luton fixed-base operator (FBO).

"GE Aviation wants its customers to be worry-free when it comes to the service and support of their engines during the Olympics," said Brad Mottier, vice president and general manager of GE Aviation's Business & General Aviation organization. "Our arrangement with Ocean Sky Jet Centre will allow us to best serve our customers so they can enjoy the games."

Dedicated GE Aviation field service representation will be on-site at Ocean Sky Jet Centre through the Olympics. GE's mobile repair team will be available for any line maintenance needs. GE Aviation will also strategically position new and exchange materials in the region for easy access.
