Press Release
Issued by Harrods Aviation.
May 14, 2012
In response to customer demand, Harrods Aviation has added the impressive Eurocopter EC155 to its part 145 maintenance approval at London's Stansted Airport. The Eurocopter will be joining the Sikorsky 76 and 92 series and the Agusta A109E/S.
"We have made a significant investment in our staff to provide the appropriate training as well as purchasing all the tooling required to provide a full service for this aircraft type," commented John Bool, Harrods Aviation technical director.
Mr Bool also commented "London Stansted Airport is the ideal location from which to support this helicopter, with many customers already using the EC155 to interline with either fixed wing private or commercial aircraft. With facilities available to base an aircraft including hangarage, office space and a 24/7 operations team, we will be looking to attract EC155 operators to our London base."
"This is a great step forward in our capabilities at Stansted", commented Kate Bayes, Harrods Aviation Managing Director. "The engineering support we can now provide will complement the services already on offer with our Helicopter management and charter company, Air Harrods."
