Press Release
Issued by The Air Charter Association.
February 28, 2012
The BACA Council is delighted to report that we have reached a new record membership total, largely led by a growing number of new members based outside the UK. Chairman Dick Gilbert confirmed at the AGM on 16 February 2012 that BACA now has 181 member companies and individuals, compared to 151 this time last year.
The Council is also pleased to welcome Adam Twidell from PrivateFly (an online booking network for private jets and helicopter charters) as an additional Council member. Adam spent ten years in the RAF before working for NetJets. He then worked with London City Airport to win the contract to develop RAF Northolt into a private jet hub.
Adam says he hopes to work with the Council to build some online networking opportunities so that members can share knowledge via the BACA website.
