PRISM, the industry leading Safety Management System (SMS) solutions provider, is pleased to announce that Dave Huntzinger has joined the company as Senior Vice President Helicopter Aviation Services. Huntzinger brings extensive global experience in all aspects of aviation safety, security, auditing, operations and emergency response to the newly created position.

Huntzinger joins PRISM from Eurocopter Group, where he served as Vice President, Fleet Safety and was responsible for all aspects of Fleet Safety including accident investigation, operational safety, litigation support and safety communications. His additional helicopter experience includes positions with Bell Helicopter and Cimarron Helicopters. Huntzinger was a commissioned officer in the U. S. Coast Guard and flew the HH52A helicopter.
Huntzinger has also held Vice President of Safety positions with Korean Air and America West Airlines.
He also served as Vice President of Safety and Security for TAG Aviation, overseeing a variety of safety and risk management activities, including managing all aspects of safety and security for TAG USA's Part 91 and 135 managed aircraft operations. Additional professional experience includes positions with Boeing Commercial Airplane Group and Aviation Safety Programs Inc. Huntzinger has a PhD in Safety and has flown over 2200 hours in fixed and rotary wing aircraft. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot license for helicopters with extensive experience in the Bell 206.
