Associated Air Center awarded new Airbus corporate jet completion contract

Associated Air Center, StandardAero's Large Transport Category, VIP Aircraft Completions Center in Dallas, Texas, announced today that it has received a new aircraft interior completion project from Airbus for an Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ). Today's announcement marks the 12th ACJ "turn-key" project and the 17th overall completion awarded to AAC since becoming an Airbus Corporate Jet Authorized Service and Completion Center in 2003.

"Today's announcement underscores the confidence Airbus has in our capability and in the quality and interior design elegance created by our craftsmen," said Troy Jonas, Vice President and General Manager, Associated Air Center. "We've enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Airbus which has largely been built upon our ability to meet their customers' standards for engineering and design excellence, speed of delivery and overall project cost."

Associated Air Center, an Authorized Service Center for both the Airbus Corporate Jet and Boeing Business Jet, is a custom completion, refurbishment, modification upgrade and maintenance center for VVIP, part 135 or charter aircraft within a vertically-integrated, single-site facility. AAC provides program management and ODA certification within a state-of-the-art, advanced engineering facility providing comprehensive customer service, from start to finish.

StandardAero and Associated Air Center will be exhibiting at the 64th Annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention and Expo on Oct. 10–12, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev., (Booth N6116).
