StandardAero brings 100 years of history to NBAA 2011

StandardAero wraps up its year-long Centennial of Service celebration at NBAA 2011, with a list of strategic new services, appointments and partnerships.

As part of the show, StandardAero will highlight its Centennial Celebration, kicked off earlier this year, by celebrating its milestones and achievements over the past 100 years. Originally founded as Standard Machine Works in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1911, StandardAero has grown into one of the world's largest independent repair and overhaul companies supporting the aviation industry – and the only independent authorized by General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce and Honeywell aircraft engines.

The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Convention and Expo, will be the stage for a host of announcements on StandardAero's new product support lines, service expansions, contract wins and partnerships – all part of its focus on customer service excellence and CompleteCare™ StandardAero Business Aviation's one-stop-shop, nose to tail service strategy.

"2011 has been an exciting year for StandardAero and we're bringing this excitement to NBAA in not only our anniversary celebration, but in the new service offerings by our Business Aviation business and some new contract wins by Associated Air Center (AAC), our VIP Completions business in Dallas," said Rob Mionis, President & CEO, StandardAero. We've had a good year see an exciting future ahead for StandardAero Business Aviation."

As part of this year's show, StandardAero will announce the expansion of its Mobile Services network, as well as new product support offerings with Honeywell, Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney and new business opportunities at AAC, among other news.
