Signature Flight Support London Luton (EGGW / LTN) has invested in a new state of the art security screening facility and technology furthering its commitment to exceptional security for customers. Signature London Luton is the only FBO on the field to have this equipment and complete compliance with UK Department for Transportation regulations. 

This dedicated area will greatly improve the passenger experience and reduce security screening times for departing passengers. Signature Flight Support London Luton fully complies with the new UK Department for Transportation regulations through the addition of the most advanced Automated Metal Detector arch and Explosive Trace Detector. In addition to technology, Signature has a dedicated, around the clock security team in place to assist customers with any safety or security questions and guide customers through the security screening process.

Opening the new passenger screening area was Brian Michie, Security Supervisor for Signature London Luton, who introduced and demonstrated the system to gathered guests representing based tenants, operators, brokers and flight crews who attended the event to view the new facilities. Alex MacDonald, Regional Vice President of Operations for Signature’s EMEA region conducted the ribbon cutting ceremony.  “Signature is focused on providing world-class service, safety and security for our customers and employees.  This new technology puts Signature London Luton at the forefront by being able to provide rapid screening of passengers and baggage allowing them to depart as quickly as possible,” stated MacDonald.
