Pan-European Jet charter firm Ambeo is to move from its base at Marshall Business Aviation Centre in Cambridge to London Stansted as part of an ambitious expansion plan.
Private jet company Ambeo is the premier provider of private jet travel in Europe. Ambeo employs 15 people and runs two ultra-modern four-seater Cessna Citation Mustang jets, an entirely new class of business aircraft with executive seating, luxury surroundings and top speeds of almost 400mph. Clients include senior business executives and stars from the worlds of sport and music.
The company will leave its current UK base at Cambridge airport from which it has operated for just over two years, at the end of June.
Darryl Haynes, Ambeo's Chief Operating Officer, said the move was necessary to meet the company's goals for continued expansion of its services and core capabilities, including the provision of bespoke aircraft management services for corporate jet owners.
Making the move to a 24/7 operational airfield close to the City of London means that we can now improve both our level of flexibility and cost effectiveness."
Carlo Montanini, Ambeo's Commercial Director, adds "Based on two successive years of growth we know that this is the right time to make a move. We believe that relocating is critical to meeting our strategic objectives over the next few years and beyond."
Ambeo's UK-based aircraft will now be based at The Inflite Executive Jet Centre at Stansted. Inflite provides an extensive range of aircraft handling, engineering and support services from purpose built and newly refurbished premises located close to the M11 motorway, with excellent connections to London and the South East of England. The second aircraft is operated from its existing base at Paris Le Bourget Airport in France.
