UniAir is a Part. 145 approved workshop, specialising in programmed/heavy maintenance and in-flight maintenance services for business aircraft. The company also represents Rockwell Collins, Honeywell and Williams. Newly based in the brand new "Jacqueline Auriol" K1hangar at Paris-Le Bourget airport and also at Toulouse-Blagnac, UniAir is one of the leading non-manufacturer maintenance centres.
2011: New approvals
UniAir has obtained three new approvals in 2011. The company is now qualified to carry out line and base maintenance of Falcon 50EX, 900EX and 2000EX.
UniAir is already accredited for line and base maintenance of the following jet types: Dassault Falcon 10, Falcon 20, Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 2000 ; Cessna Citation 550/560 ; Hawker Beechcraft 700, 800, 750, 900 XP, 400 XP, Beechcraft Premier One and turboprop jet types Beechcraft 1900, King Air 300, 200, 100, 90 ; Piaggio Avanti I & II.
UniAir also operates on air conditioning, auto-pilots, communication and navigation systems, electricity generation and lighting, flight controls, fuel, hydraulic systems, and landing gear, etc.
Special operation for Aerovision: converting a Falcon 50 into a flying camera
UniAir has been commissioned to fit and reconfigure the future Falcon 50 camera for its sister company, Aerovision. This involves installing a detachable pod that can be angled to hold the camera and the connections to the fuselage and cabin, a conversion system to switch swiftly from an air transport configuration to a VIP setting, and the set up of the TV production and digital work station etc.
