Press Release
Issued by ARGUS International.
April 19, 2011
PRISM, a wholly owned subsidiary of ARGUS International, announced today that its PRISM Flight Risk Assessment Tool (FRAT) will be directly accessible from the flight planning module on Honeywell's Global Data Center website.
"We are very pleased that the Honeywell GDC has selected the PRISM Flight Risk Assessment Tool to be their integrated solution to serve this important role," said Bill Yantiss, PRISM Executive Vice President. "GDC customers will be able to link directly to this tool from the GDC website and perform this assessment with all the necessary information from their flight plan immediately available to them. Although most pilots have been performing pre-flight safety reviews, the FRAT process provides a structured and consistent method to proactively identify potential hazards and further mitigate risk."
Honeywell and PRISM are offering this benefit as a value-added service to their customers. As many flight operations are implementing SMS within their flight operations, this integrated functionality allows their customers to perform this assessment at an appropriate time in a more efficient manner.
