Press Release
Issued by FlyMyJets.
March 21, 2011
The French company FlyMyJets combines all the advantages of business aviation with the joy of flying. Joining the club involves acquiring a Cessna Citation Mustang jet, either completely or partially. The added "plus" of this competitive formula is the option of taking the controls, in the left cockpit seat, from the very first flight, whatever your piloting experience. In March 2011, FlyMyJets acquired a third Cessna Citation Mustang, based in Paris-Le Bourget airport.
Fleet: three aircraft, including two based north and south of Paris
The first co-owned Cessna Citation Mustangs is based at Toussus-le-Noble aerodrome, close to the business centres of Yvelines and Hauts-de-Seine areas, the second one is based in French province.
As of March 2011 a third aircraft, with sole owner, is now based at Paris-Le Bourget airport, Europe's leading business aviation airport, less than 10 km from the centre of Paris and the district of la Défense. The jet is based in the airport's most recent terminal, Advanced Air Support, inaugurated in October 2010, integrating all the handling and concierge services.
With these two bases, strategically located on both sides of the French capital, FlyMyJets can meet the needs of the local population - companies or individuals - wishing to be part of the club. In addition, the company will consider any request for a regional base.
The concept: take the controls and make your childhood dream come true
Louis-Antoine Harlé, captain and flight instructor on business jets, created FlyMyJets in November 2009. Noticing his clients' excitement when they visited the cockpit, he understood that piloting an airplane was still a powerful childhood dream for many, even for the frequent flyer. Fed up with the constraints of public transport, they are attracted to business aviation, but some would much rather be in the cockpit than in the cabin.
He also noted that although small jets are used for business trips, they are also chartered for the week-ends with the family on board, and then the space in the cabin is limited. By using one of the pilot seats, the owner frees a seat in the cabin! And the cost per seat is also reduced.
Training is at the heart of FlyMyJets offer. A personalized training program, developed by the instructor, is adapted to each client: according to their fancy, schedule and aeronautical knowledge, be they complete beginners or already pilots. The student pilot can pursue training up to the type rating certificate to be able to fly the jet solo or, if they prefer, to continue flying with the instructor.
"It's possible to take the controls of your jet in perfect safety. You just need to dare your dreams. By creating Flymyjets, I want to offer a unique and fascinating experience." promises Louis-Antoine Harlé.
To the advantages of business aviation - flexibility, profitability, productivity - FlyMyJets adds passion so that the airplane, now part of most companies' everyday life, is no longer distinct from the notion of pleasure.
The concept: not just private aviation, but exclusive aviation.
FlyMyJets applies the principle of fractional ownership, without chartering the jets to other clients. In order to protect the aircraft interior, only the owners have access to the fleet.
The exchange system between co-owners gives access to the whole fleet and offers maximum availability. This formula considerably reduces fixed costs and makes FlyMyJets the most realistic offer on the market.
Technical and administrative follow-up allows the investment to be protected until the resale of the aircraft: maintenance is managed by the manufacturer.
Louis-Antoine Harlé has totally rethought the quality service of this business so that every journey is privileged and memorable. This involves the daily management of the aircraft, trip organization, and on board services that cater to each client's tastes and requirements - without forgetting à la carte training.
The jet: Cessna Citation Mustang, the most effective Very Light Jet.
Louis-Antoine Harlé - the first captain-instructor on Cessna Citation Mustang in Europe - chose to build up a fleet consisting only of this model.
With a reasonable acquisition cost, the lowest operating costs of the multi-engine jet range, unequalled performance and autonomy, this model stood out as the most effective twin-engine entry level jet.
What's more, the affordable use of a private jet does not mean that comfort and safety are neglected. Fitted with the latest generation equipment, the Mustang takes advantage of the manufacturer's experience, Cessna being the world's leading producer of jets.
On board, everything has been designed for a family or a team of colleagues: four large seats, executive tables, Internet connection, power and IPod plug-in. With a true jet speed of at least 630km/h and a landing distance of less than 1000m, the Cessna Citation Mustang will take you anywhere across Europe: Paris-Marseille in 1h10, Nantes-Strasbourg in 50 minutes, Venice in 1h25.
The jets can take off and land at any other airport besides their respective bases.
