Asia Jet signed a pioneering Gulfstream G-150 management contract under its collaboration agreement with China Eastern Airlines Executive Air in December. The Gulfstream G-150 is the first of three brand new aircraft joining the fleet, which will also include Gulfstream's G200 and G250 models, in addition to China Eastern's existing Hawker 800. The three-year agreement established a formal framework of collaboration between the two corporations. It also articulates mechanisms for real strategies to be created, exchanged and most importantly the transfer of knowledge between two sectors of the aviation industry. It is the first time that a Chinese Part 135 compliant Operator has co-operated with a leading private jet service provider in HK, as part of a firm commitment to contribute to their mutual strategic and technological goals, and capacity for the market. In turn, Asia Jet will offer its solid experience in sales and marketing, as well as its renown bespoke product and unique service quality, to all its esteemed mainland clients.
