Hangar8 plc, one of Europe's leading operators of privately owned passenger jets, today announced it has entered into an agreement to base a Cessna Citation XLS in Mumbai. The company believes that the Indian market is now sufficiently mature for the location of company aircraft in the region and operations will be for both local and international flights.
Dustin Dryden, Chief Executive Officer of Hangar8 comments "Establishing a base for Hangar8 in India is a further step towards achieving our stated aim of being able to provide an aircraft to a charter customer at an airport in any EMEA location within three hours of an order being confirmed. This will assist us both with our existing operations within the Middle East and also satisfy the growth in demand for our services in the Far East."
The private jet company, which recently completed a flotation on the stock market, has also recently added the exclusive Embraer Lineage 1000 and Hawker 4000 aircraft to their 21-strong fleet.
