FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Kelly Allender has been promoted to Assistant Manager of the company's Cessna Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas.
Allender joined FlightSafety in 2001, and most recently served as Director of Programs at the Wichita Cessna Learning Center. He has held a number of other positions of increasing responsibility at the Center including Program Manager for the Cessna Citation Mustang training program as well as a Ground and Simulator instructor.
He served in the active duty United States Marines for 9 years. Allender is a highly experienced AV-8B Harrier and A-6E Intruder pilot and continues to serve in the Marine reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Kelly graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and holds a multiengine ATP with type-ratings in the Boeing 747-400, Cessna Citation Jet, and the Cessna Citation Mustang aircraft.
