Rocky Mountain Metropolitan airport officials and the Jefferson County Board Commissioners have unveiled an accelerated timeline for the airport to transition to unleaded fuel three years ahead of the FAA deadline.

Aeroplex has introduced unleaded aviation fuel at Santa Monica airport. The Swift UL94 is available at the self-service fuel station.

Communities across the US now know that piston aircraft are responsible for 70 per cent of toxic lead emissions reported to the EPA. Swift Fuels, along with a number of US airports, is leading the fightback.
