This Bell 505 FTD Level 2 simulator will allow Horizon, a flight school based in Abu Dhabi, to enhance its training by enabling cadets to practise emergency situations that cannot be performed in a real helicopter.

Horizon International Flight Academy took delivery of its first Bell 505 in January and completed its 12th registration by mid-April. Since then all aircraft are in operation, and have attained an important hour milestone.

Horizon has taken delivery of its first Bell 505 at a ceremony attended by its CEO Hareb Al Dhaheri. It will soon be put to work training a new generation of pilots.
