Blackcomb Helicopters is going to be the Canadian launch customer for the forthcoming medium Bell HEC dual cargo hook system from Onboard Systems.

This replacement cargo hook kit will give operators a cost-effective option to switch out their legacy hook system for a lighter, modernised external load mission solution.

The new Bell 429 kit, now in the final development stages, will provide an STC-certified solution for a variety of CFR Part 133 external load missions. With the Y-rope attached to both cargo hooks, the load limit is 1,322 lbs.
