Norwich, UK-headquartered oper-ator SaxonAir is reporting buoyant performance for the last calendar year as it furthers its year-on-year expansion since forming in 2007.

Danish operator DanCopter has had 42,000 passengers on board along with 740 tonnes of baggage in the first 12 months of its contract with Shell. DanCopter was awarded the contract in July 2012 having operated in the North Sea since 2003.

Steve Jones, Oxford Airport md says: "Business aviation traffic at Oxford is constantly on the increase given the slot constraints being experienced at other business airports.
