In 1993, Aero-Dienst became one of the first European P&WC-recognised maintenance facilities. It has carried out post-rental inspections on lease engines and serviced hundreds of engines via mobile repair teams.

As its fleet of engines increases, P&WC is taking steps to have fully operational MRO capabilities in place. It has appointed Duncan Nebraska a Designated Overhaul Facility for MRO of future PW300 and PW500 turbofans.

With 6,000 PW3000 engines under its belt, the OEM has proved its enduring appeal and performance. The 1,000th PW308C turbofan has just gone to Dassault for a Falcon 2000 fit out.
