Bristow has placed a firm order for two VoloCity aircraft with an option to purchase an additional 78 aircraft. Together with Volocopter it plans to explore eVTOL passenger and cargo transport services in the US and UK.

Bristow Americas received its first request for assistance on 29 January, and to date it has completed 24 missions to transport patients and COVID-19 test kits to remote and isolated offshore platforms.
