Loganair and Cranfield Aerospace Solutions set sights on debuting world's first operational hydrogen-electric Britten-Norman Islander in Kirkwall by 2027.

Five hundred guests attended the awards ceremony in Brighton, where winners were recognised for excellence across a number of industry categories. The association even managed to minimise its environmental impact.

There are around 100 electric aircraft flying today, but collaboration is key to scaling up sustainable operations so that the entry of regional aircraft extends capability to affordable, longer range passenger transport.
