Advanced Air, Executive Fliteways, Northern Jet Management and Worldwide Jet have renewed their IAS status ahead of the FAA's upcoming mandatory SMS rule.

Michael Wootton, director of operations for Advanced Air in California, and Richard Morris, director of global safety, quality assurance and compliance at CAE, have been added to the Air Charter Safety Foundation board.

With the help of Advanced Air, the company's third-party flight operator and long-time partner, Surf Air has restored operational reliability to its former levels of over 90 per cent.
