Stationed in Kumamoto prefecture in the Kyushu region, the H160 will join FDMA's existing helicopter fleet to enhance nationwide emergency response, speed and coverage.

Designed with three large electronic displays, the H135's cockpit is night vision goggle compatible and includes a first limit indicator, which highlights the appropriate engine instrument data for the pilot in one indicator.

The aircraft was delivered ahead of its 2026 service entry and will enhance the bureau’s firefighting, rescue and disaster response capabilities across Hiroshima.
