Operations Controller
GB Helicopters based in Knutsford are looking to recruit an Operations Controller to join an exciting team with a fleet of 10+ helicopters.
Dealing with clients on the telephone, providing quotations, and preparing briefs.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication, organisational and computer skills plus the ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
There may be occasions where unforeseen issues arise often at short notice and this will require a person who can work under pressure, adapt to change, is confident, is reliable and always behaves in a professional manner.
A confident phone manner, and familiarity with communicating fluently via email, is essential.
In addition to the office tasks, you may occasionally be required to visit the aircraft hangars to deliver equipment etc to aircraft or pilots. Therefore, a clean driving licence will be required.
Energy, confidence and a ‘can do’ attitude will be essential to this role, and a willingness to push yourself will be greatly acknowledged. We look for potential and hope to help grow and develop all our staff.
The work hours are predominantly 0900 – 1700 (Monday – Friday). However, there will be a requirement to work flexible and potentially longer hours during busy periods and be on call on evenings/weekends as part of a rota.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the aviation industry is essential.
Contract: Full-time following a six-month probationary period
Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Hold a full driving licence for 2 years
