Double celebration for Synergy Aviation

Private Aircraft Charter Company, Synergy Aviation, has two excellent reasons to be celebrating this month – not only has the company reached its fifth anniversary but it has also been named as one of the three finalists in the Best General Aviation Operator Category at this year's Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) Awards.

"The endorsement from BACA has come at an ideal time," said Managing Director, Glen Heavens. "As we celebrate our fifth anniversary, the award nomination is the perfect reflection of the effort and hard work contributed by everyone at Synergy Aviation. I am especially delighted to be nominated by fellow BACA members who recognise and understand the challenges within our industry – this is a huge accolade to my colleagues who work diligently to deliver the right service to our customers."

Privately-owned Synergy Aviation was founded by Glen five years ago. Glen said: "I started Synergy with a single Piper Seneca and a lot of hard work. Synergy is fairly unique in that it didn't start with a pile of money – it started with a group of likeminded pilots, intent on offering clients the best possible service, in the safest possible environment. As the company has expanded we have stuck to our values of integrity and honesty. Synergy is continuing to grow - it has emerged from being a cottage industry and is moving towards a more corporate entity." Today Synergy Aviation operates a range of business aircraft throughout Europe, including jets and turboprops. Synergy's flying school, the Fairoaks Flight Centre, operates from headquarters at Fairoaks Airport near Woking in Surrey and Synergy also maintains bases at London Biggin Hill and London Luton airports.

BACA is the world's largest and most respected network for air charter professionals, representing the interests of charter airlines, air-brokers, airports, business aircraft operators, freight forwarders and consultants at both a commercial and political level. The annual BACA awards acknowledge those who have contributed an outstanding level of service to the industry. The winners of five award categories, plus the Global Excellence Award, will be announced at the annual BACA Awards Luncheon, to be held at Guildhall, London on 26 October.
