Engine Assurance Program (EAP) adds Rolls-Royce BR710C4-11 engine and APU to hourly engine maintenance programme

Operators of the BR710C4-11-powered Gulfstream G550 now can enroll their engines and APUs with the Engine Assurance Program (EAP). EAP also covers the BR710A1-10 and the BR710A2-20, which power the Gulfstream GV and the Bombardier Global Express, XRS, 5000 and 6000 respectively.

EAP continues to expand the list of engines covered by its hourly maintenance programme. EAP already covers all variants of the Honeywell TFE731 and recently has focused on adding General Electric, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Rolls-Royce engines to its roster, with the latest being the Rolls-Royce BR710C4-11, which powers the Gulfstream G550.

“Importantly, we aren’t just adding the engines, we are adding industry-recognised engine professionals so that our clients get both engine coverage and expert support. Most recently, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Rolls-Royce engine pro Delray Dobbins joined our team, and clients are delighted knowing that skilled help is just a phone call away,” says Sean Lynch, EAP managing director. “EAP’s responsive service, robust rental engine pool and significant spare parts inventory set us apart, and our growth is evidence of that.”

“We are finding that operators of Rolls-Royce-powered aircraft are welcoming the option of an engine-only programme as some operators do not require nacelle coverage, and they also are welcoming more flexibility on minimums,” added Delray, EAP’s director of global strategy.

By owning the spare parts inventory and rental engines/APUs, EAP is able to overcome the supply chain issues plaguing the industry and provide proactive customer service and enhanced dispatch reliability. EAP customers have a 99.98 percent dispatch reliability rate. With the recent addition of the new engines, EAP covers a large portfolio of engine models that power many popular business jets from every major manufacturer.
