Veteran jet charter team from former Spirit Aviation and Altitude Aviation launch Dreamline Aviation

Dreamline Aviation, LLC. announced today that it has received Part 135 Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration authorizing it to conduct worldwide jet charter operations.

The company, headquartered in Hermosa Beach, will operate aircraft from bases in Van Nuys, Santa Ana and the Bay Area. Dreamline currently manages ten aircraft ranging from Gulfstreams and Challengers to King Air turboprops; all of which will be placed on the new operating certificate over the next few months.

Mark Schmaltz, the company's President and CEO, is the founder and former president of Spirit Aviation. Spirit began in the early 1980s and grew to become one of the largest and most successful jet charter companies on the West Coast.

"The success or failure of a charter aviation business depends entirely on the relationships it establishes with customers," said Schmaltz. "At its core, what we offer is an incredibly personal service, which is why it's so important to establish a team that can understand and anticipate the needs of charter customers and aircraft owners. With Dreamline, we've put together a talented group of people who understand the importance of customer service and have the experience necessary to make us a leader in the industry."

Co-founder Michael Binder, President of Altitude Aviation, adds, "In recent months, we've seen a tremendous increase in demand for charter jet services. That's why we feel now is the perfect time to launch a new aviation charter business -- particularly one with a dedication to providing top-notch customer service and client relations."
